Mission Statement TheCancer Support Community of Philadelphia is dedicated to providing, at no cost to members, a
comprehensive and professional program of emotional
support and education designed to enhance the mind,
body, and spirit of people whose lives have
been impacted by cancer.
The Cancer Support Community of Philadelphia (formerly The Wellness Community of Philadelphia) is a non-profit organization serving people with cancer and their loved ones of all ages and ethnicities throughout the five-county area. At the Cancer Support Community people with cancer join with others to learn they are not alone, and in doing so, they gain valuable knowledge and coping skills that enable them to find hope and support irrespective of their stage of disease. Services include support to people with all types of cancer and their families, educational workshops, healthy lifestyle programs, and social activities. Our services are free of charge and are designed as a complement, not an alternative, to conventional medical care. Each individual chooses what activities to attend. Programs take place at The Suzanne Morgan Center at Ridgeland Mansion in West Fairmount Park and at other sites in Philadelphia and the suburbs.
CSCP is working with several organizations that are helping to support people affected by cancer through purchase of their products or services. Please click on their logos to learn more. Please support the organizations that help CSCP!
