FIRST REUNION OF SURVIVORS' CIRCLE

The Cancer Support Community of Philadelphia held its first reunion of its Survivors' Circle on Sunday, November 7, 2010 in the barn. Over 35 people attended, and some had not been back to CSCP in over 12 years. There was live entertainment by Doug Farrell and Joe Camardo, support group speakers from over the years (including Julie Catagnus & Dick Sauls, Kathleen Daniels and Monica Armstrong), refreshments, and lots of hugs, tears and laughter.

The hope is that these former participants will help spur donations to fund a support group on their own. Special thanks to board member and former participant Lisa Barsky whose idea made this event a reality and who helped support and organize all the fun.
